Haiti Art Contest!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE! READ THIS!!!!

Hello Penguins!

As many of you know, we're always trying to help kids and families all over the world. And thanks to your support and generosity, a new school has been built in Haiti.

It just needs one more thing - a painted mural for the playground... And we want YOU to design it!

Show us what having fun means to you by drawing and sending us a picture of your penguin playing with your buddies! We'll then select the Top 4 pictures, and everyone will vote for their favorite here on the What's New Blog!

If your artwork is chosen, it will be painted by one of our artists as a large wall mural. We hope this mural will help share the gift of fun with all the kids who play there.

We'll be putting up a submission page next week. Here's the Dos and Don'ts list for your picture, so you can get started:

Do:

1. Draw between two and four penguins playing together.
2. Draw the picture taking place outdoors.
3. Draw penguins with only one or two simple items. Like hats and scarves!
4. Try to use five colors or less.
5. Use any art style you like! Pencils, pens and paints are great!

Don't:

1. Include any personal information (like an address).
2. Use any words.
3. Use anyone else's pictures.
4. Draw large or complicated items. (No Squidzoids!)

Mountain Expedition Cheats!

Sorry I'm late on cheats, my Mom wouldn't let me on! lol So, go to the town or plaza, and click on one of the signs to go to then Ski Village!

Once your there, go in to Mountain Expedition camp!

It's funny to think I was in here already, but it was a snow maze. Lol

Here's the campsite, we have the sled, supplies, but OH! A DENTIST?!?!?!? It's bad enough we have dentist in the real world, but now here too?! It makes me wanna barf in a doctor's pants! (My Brother knows what I mean! Lol) Sooo... enter the cave and...

The Ice Caves! Yay!! the icicles may be a little tricky to get through, so either get a blow torch and melt em', or...

Click on every other icicle starting with the first one! Eventually you should get through! Special thanks to Saraapril for this tip!

Yay! It kinda looks like a monster's mouth, and he just lost all his teeth! LOL!

Once you get out of the monster's mouth, you come to this other campsite! I love how it snows here! Just like on my site! If you go and head on up...

Aww shoot! Dead end!! Thanks a lot GANGSTAHZ!!! Oh wait, looky here...

An axe, huh?

I know! Let's brush it off with this poison ivy! YAY POISON IVY!! :D

Why do I feel so itchy?!?!?! Oh well. Yay! It's finished! You know what that means...

POWER TIME!!!!! Ahh, my axe!! It's floating away!!

Oh wait! It's cutting down that log!! YAY SCARY FLYING SPOOKY AXE!!! :D

Throw some snowball at the icicles, and... well, I'll let you see THAT for yourself!

Finally! We made it to the top! Victory!!!

Puffle Cushions!

This just in! For all you puffle fans out there, we have a MAJOR exclusive! The brand new, puffle cushions! From what I've heard, these cushions are BIG! Check it out...

I 50% like them, 50% don't. Here's why... first of all, they all look like they have BUZZ CUTS. And those buzz cuts, make them look FAT. Kinda at least. Also, look at the black puffles hair! There is a good looking color grey, and there is a bad looking color grey. And THIS my friends, is the bad kind. And look at the green puffle! It's hair, is blue. BLUE!!!!!!!!! That is VERY weird. So, here's what they need to do to fix these.

#1. Grow more hair, to look all puffy like a puffle. They are called puffles cuz they are puffy!

#2. Give the green puffle GREEN hair, and give the black puffle BLACK hair.

#3. With every puffle cushion comes a free taco.

Then, they should be perfect. Are you gonna buy em'? I'm not. Wanna know why?

CUZ I'M BROKE!

LOL Note to self: Don't count on gettin' money out of Mom.

Lots of you are getting excited for the Mountain Expedition which starts on Friday! Last week, we asked you what challenges you thought you'd face on your way to the top, and Dry Ice124 said:

I always love new things on Club Penguin. I also love exploring new things. I'm going to love the mountain exploration. I wish there would be challenges to face and solve for the event. Maybe like saving or helping other penguins on the mountain or exploring new parts and places of the mountain like a cave or a tunnel! There's going to be a lot of exploration and adventure! I'm so excited!!

Well, my favorite igloo is the Pirate Ship igloo! Remember when we found all those paper boats back in 2008? They made the blueprint that Rockhopper drew for the Ship igloo! There is TONS of room at the bottom, HUGE stairs, that top floor is always helpful, and finally, that awesome plank! What is your favorite igloo? Let me know!
